Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Swire Studio ("we", "us", "I") collects, uses, and protects the information you share when you visit swirestudio.com or get in touch about a project. Swire Studio is a sole proprietorship based in Texas, USA.
Information I collect
I collect only what's necessary to respond to inquiries and run a small project-based business:
- Contact details you provide. When you fill out the contact form, book a call, or email me, you share your name, email address, and any project information you choose to include.
- Booking data. When you book a call through the embedded calendar, the booking provider collects the details required to schedule it (name, email, time zone, any notes you add).
- Analytics data. The site uses aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics — page views, referrers, country-level location, and device type. This data is anonymous and is not tied back to you personally.
How I use information
The information you share is used only to:
- Reply to your message and schedule a call
- Quote, scope, and deliver work on a project we agree to
- Send project-related updates and invoices
- Understand which pages on the site are useful, so I can improve them
I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with advertisers.
Third-party services
The site uses a small number of third-party services. Each has its own privacy practices:
- Cal.com — embedded calendar for booking intro calls
- Vercel — site hosting and infrastructure-level analytics
- Fontshare and Google Fonts — web fonts (these may receive your IP address as part of normal font delivery, but do not receive any personally identifying account data from this site)
Cookies
The site itself sets a single value in your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. Third-party services embedded on the site (such as the booking calendar) may set their own cookies under their own policies. You can clear cookies and local storage at any time using your browser settings.
Data retention and deletion
I keep project records (contracts, invoices, correspondence) for as long as the relationship and applicable tax and legal requirements demand — typically up to seven years after a project closes. You can request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal information at any time. Some records (such as paid invoices) may be retained where the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, email me at the address below.
Contact
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, email tristanswire@gmail.com.
This is a baseline policy intended as a starting point. Before relying on it legally — for example, if you collect more data, expand outside the US, or take on enterprise clients — replace it with a tailored policy reviewed by counsel or generated by a service such as Termly or Iubenda.
